Rancho Chico is a manufactured housing community with space available to accommodate many more neighbors. But the lead time to order, build, transport, permit, install and complete manufactured homes for occupancy takes many months, if not years. Our neighbors from Paradise, Magalia and other nearby areas need places to go home to now. With this in mind we have created a program to assist victims of the Camp Fire with housing opportunities within Rancho Chico. For those who have been impacted by the Camp Fire, we will make available to those who qualify for tenancy a vacant space, with discounted rent, which they may call home for up to six months in their travel trailer, fifth wheel, motorhome or park model RV. This is a temporary program, meant to accommodate those who have been displaced due to the Camp Fire. Our intent has been and remains to eventually and ultimately fill the remaining vacant spaces in Rancho Chico with manufactured homes, but feel it is important to allow recreational vehicles in otherwise vacant mobile home spaces for a limited period of time to help others during this tragedy. The recreational vehicles must meet strict age and aesthetic quality criteria, and while all are welcome in Rancho Chico, those interested in this program must still qualify for tenancy in Rancho Chico. Community rules and regulations will also apply. For more information, please contact Park Management at 530-891-5186 or ranchochico@monolithparks.com
